Technology Development Zones - TechnoParks

According to the Technology Development Zones Law, R&D; refers to creative activities carried out systematically to increase the knowledge base consisting of culture, human, and society's knowledge and to use this knowledge to design new processes, systems, and applications, including software.

TechnoParks serve as a bridge between universities and industrial organizations, creating the most suitable climate and conditions for research and development activities, ensuring efficient production and technological outputs.

Artemis Treatment is the first and only Technology Development Zone located within an Organized Industrial Zone in Turkey, situated in the Yıldız TechnoPark İkitelli Campus. Our institution is involved in theoretical studies with both universities and academics, and it also possesses physical spaces with various practical production opportunities.

R&D Processes

Research and development activities are detailed and multi-disciplinary activities that need to be conducted. Following the most basic research, examination, and literature review processes to resolve and eliminate an uncertainty, the process continues with field research, determining application and usage areas, and conducting laboratory, experimental, and pilot-scale studies.

The evaluation of the interim results obtained and the resolution of problems encountered during the process, along with new planning processes, constitute the next steps. The process continues until results are achieved. Unlike academic studies, planning should be based on obtaining a product, software, or process with tangible economic value as a result of R&D activities.
